The technical design term for a set like this is: "REALLY BOSS."

Like the Standard 210 and Harpers 6 transistor, this radio has two very major design advantages over 99% of all other transistors:

(1) it's got that fat-lipped optical-illusionary ultra-thick eye-candy reverse-painted heaviosity going on there,

and (2) some anonymous genius designer actually bothered to take into consideration just how this little fellow should fit in one's hand!
