The M31 gallery of reverse plastic:

8 transistor Dynamic DR-820,
6 transistor Zephyr ZR-620

both cabinets 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"

Both radios share the same cabinet layout (with minor variations) but they have different chasses and reverse-painted dial areas.

To me, the Dynamic 820's cabinet face seems like kind of a nice visual blend of the Zephyr 620 and the Global/Zephyr 711.

The Zephyr 620, like the Global 711, is one of a number of Japanese transistor "icons" -- not because they're rare, but because they're great looking and a lot of them were produced, making them among the best of the more commonly found Japanese transistors...
