1961 Grundig Solo-Boy 201 with speaker cabinet:



Speaker cabinet measures 6 3/8"W x 4 1/8"H x 1 1/4"D, radio measures 3"W x 2 1/16"H x 13/16"D (just slightly under actual size here if you're viewing on a 17" monitor at 800x600 resolution). This radio / speaker cabinet unit is my favorite European transistor. Just how favorite? I traded a Sony TR-63 to get it...

You saw the inside of the Solo-Boy's display box on the opening page of the European transistor gallery: that "Starlet" box with the silly Grundig motto and the pic of a girl with a face only a mother could love... But stay tuned here, look at the next pic on the list: it's the Solo-Boy radio itself -- itsy-bitsy, teeny-weenie, and very cute...
