1960 7TP-303 "Cat's Eye"

4 3/8"H x 2 3/4"W x 1 3/8"D

This has to be one of the gaudiest transistor radios ever made: The cabinet is as boxy as any 1964 Hong Kong or Taiwan transistor. And then there's that blazingly stupid gold chevron pasted on top of a matte aluminum speaker grill. And then that bold & dopey numeral "7" set dead-center... Well, even Toshiba should be allowed a bad hair day...

Further "Cat's Eye" insults can be found on the Zephyr 930 page, comparing & contrasting these two radios...
