Other than for a rare and very early set with a reverse-painted plastic thumbwheel dial, Realtone found no need at all to use reverse-painted plastic in order to make great looking radios. And I'd almost bet my collection that the "inspiration" for all four of these cabinet designs came from one radio only -- the Sony TR-610.
