1961 Arvin 61R35, and 1961 Arvin 61R13 "Checkmark":

1961 Arvin 61R35: 4 1/8"H x 2 1/2"W x 1 3/8"D
1961 Arvin 61R13 "Checkmark": 4"H x 2 3/4"W x 1 1/4"D

The nice thing about Arvins with model numbers is that you know immediately what year the radio was sold: the 61R13 sold in '61, and so on...

The green 61R35 is yet another example of a US "reverse plastic" shirtpocket radio -- and, again, a very pretty radio if you can get past the fact that it's not a Japanese set...

The red 61R13, with its bold gold "checkmark" tuning dial area cutting deep into the speaker grill, is one of the most memorable US transistor shirtpockets. Its cabinet also came in coral, green, and black.
