1958 WSW (Siemens Austria) Transetta 581

Small portable radio, thermoplastic cabinet
6 7/8 x 4 x 2 1/8 inches / 175 x 102 x 54 mm
MW, seven transistors (OC44, 2x OC45, 2x OC71, 2x OC72), one diode, superheterodyne circuit
Three tubular 3-volt batteries
Manufactured by WSW (Siemens Austria), Vienna

A beautiful and well-crafted small portable radio, very "solid". The MW tuning scale is calibrated in meters/10 (200 - 550 meters) rather than kHz, and the tuning is very smooth. The triangular tuning window is kind of unique both in its shape and in having all those cool European city/station markings on it!
