Manufactured by Sharp (Hayakawa Electric Co. Ltd., Japan)

aka Sharp TR-203, this set's components were made in 1959, but I have a feeling that this model first may have been produced in 1958 — just a hunch...

Two very nice things about this radio are its lavender-colored cabinet made of that old-fashioned thermosetting plastic and its dark-green painted speaker grille which unfortunately appears nearly black in these photos.
