Crown was best known for its beautiful and sophisticated cabinet designs — the TR-555 seems to have taken a turn into the realm of Toshiba's playland designs and it bests all of them — wild & crazy and still so small and slim, ergonomically perfect, and absolutely gorgeous — in terms of going "over the top" in cabinet design, there aren't all that many other pocket transistor radios that equal this set.
