One of the few transistor radio cabinets I've seen that's truly yellow in color, not a faded white. Its cabinet colors — gold, red and yellow — make for a very pleasing color combination. This radio appeared under a number of different names, including its manufacturer's original marketing name, "Constant."

The outside back face of this Persona TR 600 unit is stamped, "6T-160", the model number of the original Constant model — see photo below.

Collector Joe Haupt has written on Wikimedia Commons, "The earliest newspaper ad I could find for this radio was in the May 23, 1958 edition of the Abilene Texas Reporter-News. The Personna transistor radio was included in a Lester's Jewelry Store ad. It was priced at $29.95 (regular price $39.95)." And on his Flickr page, Joe shares an ad from The Corpus Christi Caller Newspaper, dated August 15, 1958 (see below).
