Nicknamed by collectors as the "Toshiba Coffin", one of the most unique and memorable transistor pocket radio cabinet designs to have found its way onto the US market. Its cabinet face design manages at the same time to meet Toshiba's styling demands and yet achieve truly good design through the usage of mirroring of the tuning dial and speaker grille against the rest of the cabinet's face. One only needs to look at the later variation of this model to see this — the Toshiba 6TP-335, as seen on Alan Kastner's web site and shown below, is classic Toshiba in its design, yet no matter how gorgeous the 335 looks, it doesn't have the design integrity of the 6TP-304.
