I guess I still agree with my assessment of this set's fate as I wrote on my M31 site's page in the late 1990s:
"A truly handsome reverse-painted plastic radio in its own right, this 6-transistor set had the misfortune of being the "A" model # of that ultra-cool "deep vee" 6TP-309, and because of that it's suffered second-billing to an undeniably classic "monster" -- life is not fair... "
