Romania: c.1973 Cora 6-transistor

Shirt pocket portable, thermoplastic cabinet
4 1/4 x 2 5/8 x 1 3/8 inches / 109 x 67 x 35 mm
MW, six transistors
Superheterodyne circuit
Two 1.5-volt cells
Manufactured by Tehnoton S.A.; Iasi, or Electronica; Bucuresti, Romania

I couldn't find anything on this set outside of Radiomuseum, with a page for this giving the mfr date as, "1973?" Another Radiomuseum page shows a similar radio named as, "Cora 6TR" as being manufactured by Electronica; Bucuresti, with the same "1973?" manufacture date, but a slightly different dial area. I don't know the connection between Tehnoton and Electronica, other than it must be quite close. This set has "Electronica" on it's dial face and what looks to be an Electronica emblem on its back cabinet face.

So, if this is a "1973?" radio, it's pretty decent looking: the tuning area is under clear plastic, and it has a fairly cool sliderule tuning dial -- not too bad for any radio made in "1973?".
