Just about my favorite "crystal diode" radio: a super-textured cabinet in a nice pale yellow with a great big round tuning dial, and it's got a cool box too....
As with so many crystal diode radio cabinets, this one has "melt marks" from having had the earphone cord wrapped around it forever -- the"plasticizers" that keep the ear cord soft also can soften any other plastic they come in contact with.
